Defense and Intelligence Community Veteran Leads Delivery of New Purpose-Built Digital Risk Management Platform for Government Marketplace

WASHINGTON – April 7, 2015 — Waverley Labs, a leading digital risk management (DRM) company, today announced the appointment of James A. Holtzclaw as General Manager, Federal Programs. In the new position, Holtzclaw will oversee Waverley Labs corporate federal services for digital risk management (DRM) solutions supporting the Federal Government – including the Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Holtzclaw will introduce Waverley Labs purpose-built DRM platform to the Government marketplace. The industry-first DRM solution leverages a knowledge-based approach enabling large organizations to identify, prioritize and quantify digital risk as it relates to the organizations’ business and mission.

Waverley Labs’ DRM platform supports the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and aims at building digital resilience. It delivers key information that enable Federal Government agencies and organizations to identify and prioritize which risks need to be mitigated based on possible consequences, ranging from business interruptions to loss of human lives. Results are prioritized and quantified in an at-a-glance “DRM Scorecard.”  The solution is under evaluation and testing for wider use in Government and Energy industry deployments.

“Jim Holtzclaw’s knowledge and extensive government experience managing business risk from the cyber threat is indisputable,” said Juanita Koilpillai, Founder and CEO of Waverley Labs. “We look forward to Jim’s leadership as we educate government leaders about new DRM solutions and their ability to protect critical infrastructure from attacks.”

Prior to joining Waverley Labs, Holtzclaw was General Manager for Federal Programs at CyberPoint International providing cyber security services, solutions and products to the DoD and IC. Prior to this, he was Vice President, Enterprise Security and Infrastructure Solutions at CRGT with 510 staff in 28 states and five foreign countries supporting Federal, State and Local customers with Cyber and IT Services.
