Technology Transfer Days
April 25-29, 2016
Waverley Labs CEO Juanita Koilpillai will present the open source Software Defined Perimeter at 4 pm on Tuesday, April 26, at Brooklyn SBDC, 11th Floor Conference Room, 25 Chapel Street, Brooklyn NY 11201.
Technology Transfer Days is a week long event with three components:
1) A series of one-on-one meetings between local entrepreneurs and scouts of government agencies who are actively looking for emerging and innovative technologies. These meetings are unique opportunities for local companies and startups to form relationships with, and to gain feedback from these scouts. A potential outcome of the meetings may be the scouts’ selection of entrepreneurs and company attendees’ technologies for socialization among various government agencies, who in turn may fast-track contracting. If one’s technology does not apply to a listed Community of Interest’s specific requirements, it does not necessarily preclude one from participating.
2) Two meetups between 6-9 pm on Monday April 25 and Tuesday April 26. These are open to the public. We encourage you and all in your networks to come to one or both of these. Monday the 25th will feature a legal panel covering the intersection of cybersecurity and IP for businesses. Tuesday the 26th will be a reception featuring special guest speakers and success stories from past Technology Transfer Days alumni attendees. Refreshments will be provided. Please check the meetup site for location and to RSVP: http://www.meetup.com/Technology-Transfer-Days/
3) A larger technology transfer collaborative learning ecosystem, community and stakeholders network, introducing entrepreneurs and company attendees to community learning and facilitated networking opportunities with other attendees, participants, hosts, advisors, partners, alumni, and supporters.
